Tea gardens-Palampur is rightly known as the Tea Capital of Northwest India since it has vast spreads of lush green tea gardens which are the main attraction of this town.These tea plantations in the backdrop of the mighty Dhauladhar mountain range indeed add to the beauty of Palampur and provide you with an opportunity to click those insta worthy pictures .

Saurabh Van Vihar-Spread in an area of 13 kms, Saurabh van vihar is a nature park dedicated to Capt.Saurabh Kalia(Martyr of Kargil war).The park is situated on the bank of snow fed Neugal khad.The park shelters a sizable population of  bird species which further enhances its charm.The park has become a popular picnic place for the people in addition to enjoying boating , birdwatching , bouldering and adventure such as zip line. 

Neugal Khad(stream)- Neugal khad is a wide stream of water originating from the Dhauladhar mountain range. There are numerous virgin locations at a walking distance from our homestay, right on the banks of  this river for spending quality time with your loved ones having a nice picnic, climbing rocks, swimming , trekking and lovely walks in the shade of  pine/deodhar trees.Such outings provide a lovely opportunity to our guests to relax and rejuvenate in the lap of nature and create everlasting memories.

Jakhani Mata temple-This temple is situated at the top most point of  Chandpur village .The temple is at a vantage point, from where the view of  Dhauladhar range, Palampur valley and rural settlements is spectacular.
Picturesque Hydel Project Sites-  There are many hydel projects at a distance of  5-15 kms from Palampur.The drive to these project sites provides you with an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of  Pine/Deodhar forests, waterfalls & extremely picturesque view of the Mountain ranges/valley.

World famous Para gliding site Bir-Billing- Bir is a village located in the Kangra district.It is considered as the hub for Para gliding.18kms north of  Bir is the take off site Billing from where one takes off and the lands at Bir, thus the name Bir Billing.It is also famous as the Paragliding Capital of the World.Bir is also famous for its soulful Tibetan Monasteries amidst scenic and peaceful settings.

Shera Bling Bhattu Monastery –It is a Buddhist Monastery demonstrating ancient geomancy principles and the Tibetan architectures & traditions using modern materials.The multi story complex , covering an area of  more than 30 acres, comprises a number of purpose specific structures such as shrines , Nuns’ retreat center , Monks’ retreat center, individual retreat house, craft center and shera bling institute etc.

Tashi Jong Monastery- This Buddhist monastery is situated about 15kms from Palampur. The monastery complex houses the main temple, the stupa of Khamtrul Rinpoche and Yamantak Retreat center. Designed by Khamtrul Rinpoche, the building is adourned with wood carving, gilding and paintings.Apart from being a monastery , Tashi Jong is also an excellent craft emporium, where Tibetan artifacts are available .

Dharamshala- The picturesque surroundings of  Dharamshala and the presence of great Buddhism culture is what makes it a place to visit.Dharamshala is divided into two parts, the upper Dharamshala and lower Dharamshala and both these regions have scenic landscapes . bungalows, churches and monasteries.

Mcleodganj –Mcleodganj is a suburb in Dharamshala in the Kangra District.It is also known as little Lhasa because of its large Tibetan population.The Tibetan govt in exile is headquartered in Mcleodganj.Named after Sir Donald Friell Mcleod, the place has emerged as a major Buddhist center as it embraces great and impressive monasteries with larger than life images of Buddha,Padmasambhava and Avaloktwshara.

Triund (trekking and camping site)- Triund is a trekking & camping site.It is a green alpine meadow situated on top of a hill from where you have splendid views of  the Dhauladhar mountains & Kangra valley.The trek to Triund starts from Mcleodganj with a total trek distance of about 9kms one way.The best time to trek is from March till December excluding the monsoon months of june & july.

Famous temples of Jwalamukhi, Brajeshwari Devi, Chamunda & Chintpurni- Palampur also promotes spiritual tourism to the fullest.Due to its central location,the famous temples of  Jwalamukhi, Brajeshwari Devi, Chamunda & Chintpurni could be visited as a part of your stay at Palampur.

Dhauladhar Nature Park- It is an open zoo spread over an area of 12.5 hectare in Gopalpur village on the Palampur-Dharamshala road.The zoo houses around 180 animals of 20 different species.The main attractions are leopards , The Himalayan black bear , the Sambhar , Barking deer  etc.

Shobha Singh art gallery- This art gallery is situated in Andretta village which is about 14 kms south of Palampur.The gallery is dedicated to the work of  an eminent Sikh artist Shobha Singh.It displays some of the finest works of  Shobha Singh which include Portraits of Soni-Mahival and Heer-Ranjha.He also painted portraits of Sikh Gurus , portraits of  Indian national heroes like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Karatar singh Sarabha, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Kangra Art Museum- This museum was opened to the public in the year 1990 and has a collection of almost 1500 artifacts. The artifacts include paintings from the 17th century , artifacts from the 5th century and also works of  modern artists.Many artifacts pertain to the tribal culture of the area including carvings on wood and clothing.It is situated at a distance of  about 35 kms from Palampur.

Kaya Kalp (Yoga and Naturopathy institute )-‘Kaya’ means body and ‘Kalp’ means transformation, therefore Kaya Kalp means transformation of the body.It is believed that just treating the body is not complete health care as long as mind and soul are not in absolute synchrony. Dal Lake- It is a small mid altitude lake near the village of Tota Rani in Kangra district.The name Dal lake is taken from Kashmir’s Dal lake.The lake is surrounded by Deodar trees and is considered to be a sacred spot as it also has a small Shiva temple on its bank.The lake is filled with greenish water and is a famous tourist attraction.
